CDF Vegetation Treatment Program EIR BBW is working with the CA Division of Forestry to jointly prepare an EIR of CDF's 55 million acre vegetation treatment program. The draft EIR should be available approximately Jan. 1, 2007. NRCS fuel break specifications BBW has on-going work with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to develop specifications for fuel breaks in forested areas on private lands in Northern California during 2004-2005. Hyampom emergency timber harvest BBW completed the preparation and oversaw the implementation of CA. emergency timber harvest notices in the Hyampom area resulting from the July 2004 Sims Fire. Wylatti Forest Management logged about 1.7 MMBF for the five private owners before the end of the field season in November, 2004. BIA Forest Management Plans on Ten CA Indian Rancherias BBW began preparing forest management plans in 2006 for ten rancherias in CA, including the Pit River Tribe, the Elk Valley Rancheria, the Cortina Rancheria, and the Susanville Rancheria. Round Valley FMP, FMP EA, & Grazing EA BWW completed the forest management plan, forest management plan environmental assesment, and grazing plan environmental assesment of the Round Valley Indian Reservation in May of 2006.
